Solution:
Uninstall and Cleanup:
1. Close all instances of Internet Explorer 2. Download the QCClient_Uninstall92.zip file attached and run this utility.
3. Once the utility is finished, on the client navigate to the path C:\Program Files\Common Files\Mercury Interactive.
4. In the “Mercury Interactive†folder delete either the “TD2000_80†or “Quality Center†folders. If both exist, delete both.
5. On the same client navigate to the %Temp% folder. This will be located in the path: C:\Documents and Settings\<windows_user_id>\Local Settings\Temp. Be sure to supply the windows user ID in the path.
6. Once in the “Temp†folder delete the “TD_80†subfolder. This is better known as the QC Cache. Like “Temporary Internet Files†this can be safely deleted. It will be recreated upon the next logon to

1. Go to C:\Program files\Common Files and rename Mercury Interactive folder.
2. Open a new IE browser. Go to Tools ->Internet Options -> setting s-> View Objects. Remove all the loader class files from the window.
3. Try to access QC again. it will perform a fresh installation of client files.
